Egg Topper

This fabulous egg topper will remove the tapered top of a soft boiled egg, shell and all. Squeeze the handle and a ring of teeth will pierce, crack and separate the top of the egg as you gently twist and lift up to remove.Sort of like scissors, a fun gadget that is used extensively in Europe for making 'oeuf a la coque' (soft boiled eggs, served in a special holder, with soldiers of toasted buttered bread, yum!). a neat little gadget, one we cannot imagine not having in the kitchen!
